Description

A Oakdale, California based Part 135 Operator is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate business acquisition and aide in growth of passenger and cargo markets.

Location: Remote worker – Must be based in the continental US

 

Job Description:

  • Source leads from your existing network within the aviation industry
  • Identifies prospects and secures new customers.
  • Conducts market research to determine new market opportunities.
  • Discover high value solutions to complex operational problems.
  • Identify problems and constraints in businesses and understand how successful deployment of Sierra West management solutions will generate value for the customers.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the aviation industry, preferrably Part 135 or comparable.
  • Connected with key points of contact within industry organizations and can establish strategic alliances.
  • Skilled at navigating new territories, opening doors, and making introductions to stakeholders and account teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and sales statistics, and translate results into numbers and solutions
  • Proficient client advocate & communicator – you plan ahead for client needs
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Independent and can work from home with a knack to draw out clients virtually or on the road
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
